Media for Labour Rights Prize

The Media for Labour Rights Prize is a journalistic prize established by the International Training Centre of the ILO (ITC-ILO), and sponsored by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Prize originated in 2008, in the framework of the ITC-ILO training courses targeting journalists and other media professionals and is now open to journalists from all over the world.

The Prize is an opportunity to spread information on international labour standards (ILS) and the work of the ILO supervisory bodies thereby raising public awareness of internationally recognized rights at work and their relevance to local labour and social issues.
